The UC Irvine School of Medicine/CHOC Children's Hospital of Orange County Pediatric Residency Program is a university-sponsored, fully  accredited program. It is the only pediatric residency program in Orange County.

Our residency program is rich in academic opportunity and clinical experience. This diversity is made possible by the close collaboration of three major teaching hospitals: UC Irvine Medical Center, CHOC Children’s Hospital and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach. Each institution contributes to the education of pediatric residents with abundant resources and dedicated faculty.
